Candy Sales, Online Sales, Stamper, and
Camper Scholarships
There are three
programs at Camp
Anokijig
that help to fund children’s summer camp stays:
|
CANDY SALES
Each spring
Camp
Anokijig
sponsors a candy sale in order for children to earn
there way to camp. Generally in the month of March
the candy sale begins and continues through early
June.
After submitting a
registration for camp with deposit; candy can be checked out and sold.
Usually three different types of candy are available for sale. 50% of
each sale pays for the candy and the other 50% goes directly toward the
campers’ registration fees.
There is no limit to
the amount that any camper is allowed to raise. You can earn your way to
1, 2, 3, up to 9 weeks of summer camp at Anokijig.

STAMPER
(offered each session - limited enrollement)
This is a
great way to lengthen your stay at camp by providing
a little bit of service for Anokijig.
Open to those individuals who are at least fourteen
years of age. The Stamper position is a cross
between camper and worker. Stampers position are
charged a reduced resident camp fee in exchange for
performing kitchen or dining hall maintenance duties
for portions of that week. Generally Stampers work
one meal per day in the kitchen/dining hall doing
dishes and clean-up(approximately
2-3 hours) . All Stampers can also be
involved in regular camp activities with some
limitations regarding Day Trip options. Other
privileges may include extended nighttime curfew and
program opportunities.
For those whom are interest in becoming a
volunteer Jr. Staff in the future;
Stamper is an opportunity to prove your
abilities and dedication. Stampers can be more
likely to make
the
transition to Junior Staff positions. Work your way
to a great summer camp experience.

CAMPERSHIP (Camper Scholarships)
Each year many people
and corporations chose to support the Anokijig Campership Fund through direct donations and
support for the Campership Campaign.
These funds are used to
help send as many children as possible to a week at summer resident
camp.
Camperships are awarded
based on immediate financial need.
