Our camper to staff ratio has been four to one.
Most of our staff
are previous Anokijig campers, so
they
bring a perspective to camp work deeply enhanced by Anokijigs rich
spirit and tradition.
All staff
attend an extensive training program prior to camp opening.
Kids love us,

| Health & Safety
Health and safety, at
Camp
Anokijig,
are our number one priorities.
A medical staff is
on duty twenty-four hours per day. Physicians are also on call with a
clinic and hospital only minutes away.
Our waterfront staff
have certified lifeguard training.
Sleeping and housing
areas have counselors and staff living with
the
campers. Counselors are trained in First Aid and C.P.R.

Excellent Facilities
Camp Anokijig is located in Plymouth, Wisconsin;
Sheboygan County; one hour north of Milwaukee and halfway between
Sheboygan and Fond du Lac. Three hundred
forty (340) acres of rolling
Kettle
Moraine
Forest
surround
Little Elkhart Lake.
Camp Anokijig boasts
of its' natural surroundings including a
sand beach,
island, pond, streams and hardwood forests. Prime facilities include
Western Lodge,
one of
the
largest and most beautiful of all log structures in the
State of
Wisconsin.
Other
facilities include:
the
stone boat house pictured to
the
right, saddle shed and
corral,
cabins,
craft house,
and
platform tents.
Program equipment
includes 50 horses,
28 sailboats,
numerous watercraft
and much more.
