What Makes Anokijig Special

 Leadership

Our staff are chosen for their understanding of young people and their ability to communicate with them on a positive level.

Our camper to staff ratio has been four to one.

Most of our staff are previous Anokijig campers, so they bring a perspective to camp work deeply enhanced by Anokijigs rich spirit and tradition.

All staff attend an extensive training program prior to camp opening.

Kids love us, parents trust us.

 Health & Safety

Health and safety, at Camp Anokijig, are our number one priorities.

A medical staff is on duty twenty-four hours per day. Physicians are also on call with a clinic and hospital only minutes away.

Our waterfront staff have certified lifeguard training.

Sleeping and housing areas have counselors and staff living with the campers. Counselors are trained in First Aid and C.P.R. TOP OF PAGE
